Dedicated Time and Space to De-Stress, Relax, Renew and Connect

Yoga, Food, Countryside and Relaxation in Beautiful Settings

Charlotte’s retreats are dedicated to guiding you to feel calm, connected, restored, rejuvenated and content. She has been running them for many years and has a reputation for helping students feel present, embodied and able to meet our practice with a smile. Mixing mindfulness within yoga practice and through meditation space and personal exploration, students can find profound and enjoyable ways to let go off the stresses of day-to-day life. All levels are welcome; beginners will feel they have the space and support needed and those with experience the depth to further their practice.

As Charlotte is a Yoga Alliance UK Senior Yoga Teacher, the taught time on these retreats can count as CPD for yoga teachers.

Weekend Retreats at Gayle’s in Sussex – January 4-6th, May 3rd-6th, October 25-27th 2019

Yoga Teacher’s Retreat March 8-10th 2019

Gayle’s is a picturesque retreat centre ideally situated in outstanding countryside on the South Downs, where Charlotte has taught many retreats and returns to for its amazing gardens and surroundings. The environment and ambience encourage an open, safe, relaxed and intimate atmosphere that promotes learning and self-development.

Your programme will include two daily yoga sessions, alongside options to join a silent walk, nutrition talk and evening mindfulness meditations – or simply take some time in the countryside, relax or chat with others.

Yoga content will vary according to time of day, more energising and opening in the mornings, moving to relaxing and restoring towards the end of the day and optional late night meditation.

“It was a brilliant weekend – your kindness and firm but gentle holding of the sessions was perfect and much appreciated.” Joanne, Sussex

Release & Contentment through Mindful Yoga and NutritionBased on her book The De-Stress Effect, Charlotte guides you to feel the effects that your own challenges have left and meet how your stresses are showing in your body. This week is designed to both help you come back to whole and explore how you can naturally protect yourself from the effects of stress, through an explorative yoga practice, body awareness, mindfulness and nutritional choices. In this way, you can help yourself to become calmer, more able to cope and free from stress-related symptoms such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, IBS, weight gain and skin issues.Whether you have experience in any of these fields or are meeting them for the first time, Charlotte’s ability to put them into the context of modern life, explain the science in a palatable way and help you understand your own cravings and responses will help create new habits to help you adapt and become more resilient to life’s pressures.“Quite simply it has changed my life. At 43 I thought I was destined for a life of no energy, low mood, anxiety and anti-depressants. Following this programme has changed all that and I feel like a new woman.” – Lara, Brighton
