stables-1-long1

Gayle’s is a picturesque retreat centre ideally situated in outstanding countryside on the South Downs, where Charlotte has taught many retreats and returns to for its amazing gardens and surroundings. The environment and ambience encourage an open, safe, relaxed and intimate atmosphere that promotes learning and self-development.

Your programme will include two daily yoga sessions, alongside options to join a silent walk, nutrition talk and evening mindfulness meditations – or simply take some time in the countryside, relax or chat with others.

Yoga content will vary according to time of day, more energising and opening in the mornings, moving to relaxing and restoring towards the end of the day and optional late night meditation.

“It was a brilliant weekend – your kindness and firm but gentle holding of the sessions was perfect and much appreciated.” Joanne, Sussex

The De-Stress Effect Week, Cortijo Romero, Spain – 10th-17th March 2018

Release & Contentment through Mindful Yoga and Nutrition

Based on her book The De-Stress Effect, Charlotte guides you to feel the effects that your own challenges have left and meet how your stresses are showing in your body. This week is designed to both help you come back to whole and explore how you can naturally protect yourself from the effects of stress, through an explorative yoga practice, body awareness, mindfulness and nutritional choices. In this way, you can help yourself to become calmer, more able to cope and free from stress-related symptoms such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, IBS, weight gain and skin issues.

Whether you have experience in any of these fields or are meeting them for the first time, Charlotte’s ability to put them into the context of modern life, explain the science in a palatable way and help you understand your own cravings and responses will help create new habits to help you adapt and become more resilient to life’s pressures.

“Quite simply it has changed my life. At 43 I thought I was destined for a life of no energy, low mood, anxiety and anti-depressants. Following this programme has changed all that and I feel like a new woman.” – Lara, Brighton

It is easy to get into the lovely town of Dalyan and great excursions are available in this amazing part of the world.

“Lisa and I just wanted to say thank you so much for the fantastic week we spent with you last week. The venue was great and the group dynamic only added to our enjoyment.  We have already been waxing lyrical to all who ask us about our week and comments have been made about how well we both look. Thanks again, your generosity, care, thoughtfulness and good humour was very much appreciated from the minute.” Lisa & Kevin, Nottinghamshire, UK
